A page all about Finn, my faithful hound.

He's three quarters Staffordshire Bull Terrier and one quarter Bullmastiff. Height growth appears to have stopped about 65cm tall at the shoulder. I would guess he's about 30kg (I don't own any scales).

He also has a neurochemical imbalance which means he doesn't produce enough seratonin (relaxing chemical) without supplements. This makes him a very anxious dog. And his breed mix also makes him excitable and inclined to rough behaviour. Life with Finn is... interesting. But these days, he's usually beautifully behaved.

Finn & Writing

I've tried writing a number of times before I got Finn, but never quite finished anything. Since March 2007, I've been unable to stop, so his relentless enthusiasm also seems to extend to his muse duties.

2006: Lie In	This picture (left) was taken back in December 2006, but sleeping still remains one of his favourite activities. When he's not tearing around like a mad dog, of course.
This photo (right) was taken on Finn's first birthday, 23rd September 2007. In response to the "dog and birthday candle" questions: 1. He tried to eat the candle. 2. While it was still lit.	2007: I is wun today
2008: New bed, please.	This picture (left) was taken in September 2008. That's the bed he'd had since he was four months old. It was replaced in November 2008.
Only dogs of "big kid" owners get to celebrate their birthdays. For Finn's third birthday (2009), we all got dressed up as musketeers. Notice I don't publish incriminating photos of myself.	2009: A Muskehound!
